Returns: Refunds, Exchanges & Credits: Learn all about Evidence Man returns, Exchanges & Refunds policy—how it works, how long you have to return your items, extending your return date, and more.  By using the site or making an account users agree to and are hereafter to be bound by the terms of service as outlined below.

What is a Return?

A return is an item or order that you send back to Evidence Man.

What is a Refund?

A refund is when we return the purchase price you paid less the shipping back to the original payment method.

What is an Exchange?

An exchange is when you send something back and we send you a similar or same item in the corrected size, color or style.

What is a Credit?

Credit is a monetary value available in your account to spend on future purchases from Evidence Man.  A credit is calculated based on the purchase price paid less any fees, shipping or restocking fees that may be applied.

Can I return an item that I decide I do not like?

All Evidence Man Products are all sold as is and come with our Quality Assurance Guarantee.  Our philosophy is about building confidence, which means we want you to feel good about your purchases. 

Evidence Man primarily operates in the state of California where there are very strict environmental laws protecting us.  Our policies follow those guidelines and if or when they come out of agreement with those guidelines we defer to California State Law to determine our updated policies based on the new or changing advice from the State Assembly.  Here at Evidence Man We believe that we all must do our part to protect the resources of our planet for future generations.

Essentially the answer is yes, you must call or email us immediately and a customer support rep will assist you with your return walking you through the process. Evidence Man will accept a properly handled returns and process the Refund, Credit or Exchange promptly according to the Terms of Service agreed to at the time of purchase.  You must place the garment into the original packaging, print the label and send back to us within 3 days of receipt of the item. 

How do I return items?

Returning eligible items from Evidence Man for a refund, credit or Exchange is Easy and Convenient. All items sold on EvidenceMan.com have a return eligibility EXCEPT FOR Undergarments which come into contact with the genitalia or anus such as: UNDERWEAR, JOCK STRAPS, SWIMSUITS, BOXERS, BOXER BRIEFS, and TRUNKS etc and have been removed from their original packaging.  In the state of California we cannot accept the return of under garment apparel which has been removed from the package or has been worn or used by the consumer outside of a physical store or point of sale.  We cannot accept any returns which contain bodily fluids or have been soiled purposefully or with malicious intent or are outside the eligible return processing window which is 3 days from receipt of the item(s). 

So, in other words, if your unwanted item(s) is/are not defective as a result of your use, you are within the return window, you have the original packaging and you have not been wearing the apparel it is indeed eligible to be returned for Refund, Credit or Exchange.  All our garments are accepted for return and refund, exchangprovided the return is shipped back to us within 3 days of receiving the item and determining you just don’t like it or there is some problem with the garment such as incorrect color, style, incorrect size or it is the wrong item.

Steps to Ensure Your Return is accepted for Refund, Exchange or Credit:

1.         Receive Garment and decide you do not like it or it does not fit properly or something is wrong such as incorrect item, color, size, and etcetera.

2.         Return the Garment to the original packaging.

3.         Print the Return Label.

4.         Place the Garment back into the original package, then put it into a new envelope/box and seal it with a copy of your invoice inside the box.

5.         Finally affix the packing slip onto the package and take to your local post office or UPS drop site depending on the shipping method.

Why was the refund or credit value less than the price that I paid for the item or items I ordered?

All returns are subject to a $5.00 Restocking fee;

our policy is NOT TO accept underwear or undergarments or apparel returns that have been taken out of the package;

the shipping and postage paid is also not refundable. 

These amount (fees, postage & shipping, voided items) will be deducted from your Refund or Credit.  Your retail order does not include a prepaid return postage label. 

If you not damaged or destroyed you can use the original envelope or box we shipped your order to you in.  If you didn’t save or you damaged the box or envelope you will have to get a new one to return your order.  You envelope should a return be required should provide sufficient protection to normal shipping conditions.

Place your items into the Return Postage unPaid Envelope and give it to your mail carrier or drop it off at a blue USPS mailbox, or bring it to your local post office, UPS or FedEx store and they can assist you with sending off the package. Also, please note, to include if possible the product Tag(s) when you send back any unworn items.  The tags should be kept in-tact as they carry information our tailor and designer will need to make alterations to create a perfect fitting garment customized for you.

If your prepaid return bag has been misplaced, or the items you are wishing to return do not fit into the bag unfolded, then please contact us and we’ll email you a shipping label or find an alternate solution for you. 

How long do I have to decide what I want to keep?

You’ll have 3 full business days from the moment the Garment arrives to you after deciding you don’t like it, it doesn’t fit, or it is just not for you. Once the garment arrives or is delivered to your residence you are meant to use the items obviously, with underwear however, visually check the package to make sure the right color, size and style arrived before you open it.  That way if you need to return it you can as the package has been unopened. If everything looks right, open it and try it on.  Enjoy!!

How do I track my returns?

If you would like to track your returns, you can use the tracking number on the prepaid label. If you need to confirm that we received your items, you can always contact us.

What if I need more time to decide?

If you’re unable to return your items within 3 days, you can extend for a few more days by following these steps. If you have a family account, make sure you’re on the correct profile of the person you’d like to extend for.

What if I’m exchanging an item?

If you have something wrong with your item such as color, size, style or item and you would like to exchange for the correct item contact us or follow the process for Return for Exchange and our customer service reps will be happy to help you out with the exchange of your items.  Please return the original pieces in the original package with the tags to the return envelope so that we might expedite your exchange. If your exchange arrives but doesn’t quite work out, please contact us so we can send you a return for refund or return for credit label.

What if I change my mind after I’ve had the item for a few weeks?

If you’re looking to return an item that is not eligible to return because the Quality Assurance time window has expired, but you wish to return due to a quality issue, please see our damages guidelines. If you kept items but later decide you don’t want them, you may return for credit unopened never worn pieces within 30 days of the date you checked out. Contact us for a prepaid return for partial credit label. Please make sure any returned item is in its original condition with all original packaging and tags. This includes any branded bags for footwear and boxes for jewelry. We’ll credit the price you paid for your item less any fees, shipping and restocking to your account. If you paid for all or part of a delivery with Evidence Man credit, any amount remaining fees will also be return to your credit balance.
